Key Stage 4

 

At Key Stage 4 our pupils follow a core curriculum of:

• English (Including Literature)
• Mathematics
• Single Award Science
• Religious Studies
• Physical Education
• ICT
• PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health & Citizenship    Education

Pupils then choose from a variety of Options which may include:

• Further Science: Additional or Triple (Seperate GCSE's in Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
• French or Spanish
• Art
• Music
• Drama
• History
• Geography
• ICT
• PE
• Technology
• Physical Education
• Media Studies
• Religious Studies
• Design and Technology: Resistant Materials, Food or Textiles.
• Business Studies

Additionally, pupils may also opt for a vocational subject where they learn about a broad work area. These subjects lead to a range of qualifications and may include off-site study. Options in vocational subjects currently include; Construction, Health & Social Care, Engineering Diploma, OCR Certificate for ICT, Catering & Hospitality, Vehicle Maintenance, Beauty & Consultancy. The range of choices is updated each year.
